The childbearing and menstruous women touch their sacrifices: knowing therefore by these things that they are not gods, fear them not.

Even women who are menstruating or who have just given birth are permitted to touch these sacrifices. Thus there should not be the slightest doubt that these are not gods; therefore, have no fear of them.
